6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

ABX Apps and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies.

Essential Technologies

Essential technologies may support website functionality, security, spam and fraud prevention, form submissions, user sessions, account authentication, load balancing, checkout functions, and privacy preferences. Some website features may not work properly if essential technologies are disabled.

Functional Technologies

Functional technologies may remember website preferences, display settings, login status, form progress, and other user selections.

Analytics Technologies

Analytics technologies may help us understand how visitors find and use the website, which pages are viewed, whether forms and pages function correctly, general traffic trends, and website performance.

Advertising and Conversion Technologies

If ABX Apps uses advertising or conversion-measurement technologies, they may help us measure advertising effectiveness, determine whether a visitor completed an inquiry or purchase, understand campaign performance, create or measure audiences, and improve marketing efforts.

Affiliate Technologies

Affiliate networks or merchants may use tracking technologies to determine whether a visitor selected an affiliate link or completed a qualifying transaction. ABX Apps may receive compensation from qualifying purchases or activity.

Your Cookie Choices

You may control some cookies through:

  • Your browser or device settings;
  • A cookie preference tool, when available;
  • Advertising-platform settings; and
  • Privacy or tracking-protection tools.

Disabling cookies may affect website functionality. Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no single universally accepted standard for responding to these signals, our website may not respond to every Do Not Track request.

Where required by applicable law, ABX Apps will take reasonable steps to recognize valid opt-out preference signals for legally covered activities.

7. Email and Other Communications

Service Communications

Service communications may include:

  • Form confirmations;
  • Audit or assessment results;
  • Project and support updates;
  • Hosting, account, security, and outage notices;
  • Billing, subscription, and renewal notices;
  • Changes affecting a requested service; and
  • Information necessary to complete a transaction or provide a service.

You may not be able to opt out of essential service communications while maintaining an active account, subscription, or customer relationship.

Marketing Communications

With appropriate permission or as otherwise allowed by law, ABX Apps may send information about website hosting, web design, digital services, practical tools, educational resources, promotions, new products, affiliate recommendations, and related offers.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email by selecting the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting support@abxapps.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not prevent us from sending essential service, billing, security, legal, or account communications. We may retain limited information concerning an unsubscribe request to ensure that your preference is honored.

8. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools

ABX Apps may use artificial intelligence, automation platforms, software integrations, and similar technologies to assist with website reviews, business assessments, content preparation, marketing recommendations, search-engine optimization, workflow automation, technical troubleshooting, customer communications, data organization, and internal operations.

Information submitted for an AI-assisted service may be processed by third-party technology providers when reasonably necessary to provide the requested service.

AI-generated information may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate conclusions. Users are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted output before relying on, publishing, or implementing it.

Do not submit protected health information, medical or mental-health records, Social Security numbers, complete payment-card or banking information, tax records, government identification numbers, authentication passwords, private encryption keys, confidential legal records, or other highly sensitive information through an ABX Apps AI tool, chatbot, general form, or ordinary email unless ABX Apps has specifically authorized a secure method in writing.

ABX Apps does not intentionally use confidential customer information to train a publicly available AI model without appropriate notice and authorization.

9. Customer Websites and Data Processing

When ABX Apps provides hosting, maintenance, web design, migration, email, forms, automation, or related services, we may process information on behalf of a customer.

In those circumstances, ABX Apps may act as a service provider or processor, while the customer generally determines why and how information is collected through the customer’s website or business.

In those circumstances:

  • The customer is responsible for maintaining an appropriate privacy policy for its website;
  • The customer is responsible for obtaining legally required consent from its users;
  • The customer is responsible for complying with laws applicable to its business, industry, and audience;
  • ABX Apps may access website files, databases, forms, logs, backups, and accounts as reasonably necessary to provide the service; and
  • ABX Apps may use hosting, infrastructure, security, software, email, backup, and technical providers to deliver the service.

The privacy policy of the customer’s website, not this Privacy Policy, governs information that the customer independently collects from its visitors, customers, employees, members, donors, patients, clients, or other users.

Regulated and Sensitive Information

Standard ABX Apps hosting and website services are not represented as HIPAA-compliant and do not include a Business Associate Agreement unless expressly stated in a separately signed written agreement.

Customers may not use standard ABX Apps services to store or transmit protected health information or other regulated data requiring specialized contractual or technical safeguards unless ABX Apps has approved that use in writing.

10. Social Media

ABX Apps may maintain profiles or pages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social-media platforms.

When you interact with ABX Apps through social media, we may receive your name, username, public profile information, comments, messages, reactions, and other information you choose to provide.

Social-media platforms independently collect, use, and disclose information according to their own privacy policies and account settings. ABX Apps does not control those independent practices.

Our website may include social-media links, embedded content, buttons, advertising tools, or similar features. These features may allow the applicable platform to collect information about your device, website visit, or interaction.

Review the privacy settings and privacy policy of each social-media platform you use. Please do not send passwords, payment information, medical information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information through public comments or social-media direct messages.

Professional Advisers

We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, financial advisers, security consultants, and other professional advisers when reasonably necessary.

Legal, Safety, and Security Purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process;

Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, change of ownership, or transfer of all or part of the business.

With Your Direction or Consent

We may disclose information when you request, direct, authorize, or consent to the disclosure.

12. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

ABX Apps does not currently sell personal information to third parties in exchange for money.

Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough to include certain advertising, affiliate, analytics, or conversion-measurement activities even when personal information is not exchanged directly for money.

If ABX Apps participates in an activity legally defined as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising and applicable law requires an opt-out mechanism, we will provide a method for eligible individuals to exercise that right.

ABX Apps does not knowingly sell or share personal information belonging to children under 16.

13. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain customer relationships, complete projects and transactions, provide support, maintain security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, establish or defend legal claims, and comply with legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information and how it is used. For example:

  • Inquiry and assessment information may be retained while we respond and conduct reasonable follow-up;
  • Customer and project records may be retained during the customer relationship and for a reasonable period afterward;
  • Financial records may be retained as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes;
  • Server and security logs may be retained for troubleshooting, performance, fraud prevention, and security;
  • Website backups may remain temporarily in scheduled or archived backup systems;
  • Marketing records may be retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to legal exceptions; and
  • Unsubscribe and consent records may be retained to document and honor communication preferences.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it.

14. Data Security

ABX Apps uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

Depending on the service, safeguards may include:

  • Access controls and authentication requirements;
  • Multifactor authentication where available;
  • Secure transmission technologies;
  • Software and security updates;
  • Malware protection and security monitoring;
  • Backups and logging;
  • Limited access based on business need;
  • Vendor management; and
  • Incident-response procedures.

No website, server, email system, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. ABX Apps cannot guarantee absolute security or guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure will never occur.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Protecting their login credentials;
  • Using secure and unique passwords;
  • Enabling available multifactor authentication;
  • Limiting access to authorized users;
  • Maintaining independent copies of important information when appropriate; and
  • Promptly notifying ABX Apps of suspected unauthorized access.

15. Security Incidents

If ABX Apps becomes aware of a security incident, we may investigate the incident, take steps to contain or correct it, secure affected systems, coordinate with service providers, preserve relevant information, notify affected individuals or government agencies, and take other actions required by applicable law.

Notifications will be provided when and as legally required.

16. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence and whether the applicable law covers ABX Apps, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information;

  • Withdraw consent when processing is based on consent;
  • Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request; and
  • Exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.

These rights may be subject to legal definitions, exceptions, identity-verification requirements, and business-applicability thresholds.

ABX Apps may voluntarily consider reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests even when a particular privacy statute does not legally apply.

17. How to Submit a Privacy Request

You may submit a privacy request using the following methods:

Use the subject line Privacy Request when submitting a request by email.

Your request should include your full name, the email address associated with your interaction or account, your state of residence, the type of request, and enough information to help us locate the relevant records.

Do not send your Social Security number, complete payment-card information, password, government identification document, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email.

Identity Verification

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to an access, correction, deletion, or portability request. Verification may include confirming information previously associated with your interaction or account.

We may also deny a request if we cannot reasonably verify the requester’s identity or locate information associated with the requester.

19. California Residents

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, when that law applies to ABX Apps.

Depending on how a California resident interacts with us, the categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers, customer and contact records, commercial and transaction information, internet or electronic activity, approximate location derived from an IP address, professional or business information, communications and support records, assessment responses, and inferences based on business information voluntarily provided.

We use and disclose these categories for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

ABX Apps does not currently sell personal information for money.

If ABX Apps engages in legally defined selling or sharing and California law applies, we will provide the required opt-out process and address qualifying opt-out preference signals as legally required.

California residents may submit privacy requests using the methods described in this Privacy Policy.

20. Children’s Privacy

The ABX Apps website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without legally required parental consent.

If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13 in a manner requiring parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

A parent or legal guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact support@abxapps.com.

Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. ABX Apps is not responsible for the independent privacy, security, content, availability, or data-handling practices of third parties.

Review the applicable third-party privacy policy before submitting information to that provider.

Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your jurisdiction.

The availability of the ABX Apps website outside the United States does not necessarily mean that ABX Apps intentionally offers services in every country.

If ABX Apps begins actively offering services in another country or jurisdiction with additional privacy requirements, we will evaluate and update our practices and notices as appropriate.

23. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our business, services, forms, technologies, providers, or legal obligations change.

When we update the policy, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

If a change materially affects how previously collected personal information is used, we may provide additional notice or request consent when legally required.
